i had an infection under my finger nail and the nail seems to have died. its come offf across my nail diagonaly from the middle to the side.
my finger nail still seems to be growing but there is no new finger nail coming through.
Did'nt want to go yo the doctors because it seems to trivial ...
will my finger nail grow back ..and who is it best to go and see about it>?????

It takes about 6 months to grow a complete fingernail, so have patience.

Your finger nail will grow back, i had a nail infection a few years ago lost nearly all my nails but they are great now . You are lucky only one nail is affected its easily spread. Tablets and cream from the doctor were no good, i got rid of it by soaking my nails in cider vinegar every night for months after reading on an american website that it was good.
