Aw!
What's up?
My fridge packed up yesterday, and the defrosted pizza I ate for my tea went right through me.
Honestly, right now I've got an arse like a Japanese flag.
That's a shame tigger. Can you leave things for a few days to allow you both to settle down and then perhaps try to speak to him, or is your relationship not too good? He might feel as badly as you do however. I hope you can sort it out

Tiggs - I had my dad for just under 40 years, we never got on, he made me cry all the time and I swore I hated him, he beat me when I was younger and I could never forgive him -
then -
he got sick, I suddenly saw my dad terrified and it scared the sh!t out of me, he was dead within 6 weeks. In that last 6 weeks, all was forgotten, I was beside him and he knew I was there for him till the end. I still miss him.
They're a funny breed parents regardless of how old you are, they can cut you in half with a look or simple sentance.
Taoism teaches us that "if we seek the approval of others, then we are forever their prisoner" have a quiet little wallow, a few sad songs and then raise the tempo.
I'm little blue today (after the Lord Mayor's parade so to speak) try listening to Mary Hopkins "Those Were The Days", and also the original versions in Russian which I think are better.
Never say never tigs......whatever the reason-try to keep communication going. Have you always gotten on well with your dad?? If so-then it is even more important not to make a huge issue out of this. I am sure it hurt loads.....but try to think how your dad may be feeling now also.
I don't get on with my dad but I still love him so much. The way he shouted at me lasty night made me so upset that I walked out of the small gathering we were at.
As Weeal says as difficult as it may seem you have to realise that if you can't learn to live with your parents in life then you're going to have to learn to live with them in death.
The point I was trying to make was that he made me SOOO angry I thought I would explode, my ex-husband often stopped me from telling dad exactly what I thought of him and Im glad he stopped me.
Dad knew he was an @rse but I was the stronger person!
Its unfair he makes you feel like this but one day you will forgive all of it.
Tigger honey , my father never shouted , mum did all the home discipline , and he died when I was 16 , I shall never forget the morning he had died in the night , the crying shock from my dear mum echoed round the house .
Please , you only get one father whether you get on with him or not . You're obviously upset by the altercation , can't you find a way to pick up the phone and tell him how upset you feel and that you love him ? xxx
