Only where Buffy lives!!!
Yes, I'm one...not really. I do like drinking blood on occasion, but just for recreational purposes! Seriously, there are tons of people who like to pretend to be vampires, bloodletting with consenting partners, wearing false teeth, sleeping in coffins and so on. There are others who claim they really are vampires and do stuff like drinking animal's blood. An internet search would probably come up with some interesting sites on the subject, but I'm behind a firewall and can never see stuff like that (unfortunately).
In the true sense - no. The vampire is an undead creature which has to drink human blood in order to survive. It is a myth handed down from eastern European folklore, and imortalised in Stoker's 'Dracula'. As the previous response indicates, some people do live the lifestyle, even down to drinking blood, but since they do not drink blood as their only form of sustenance, and they will die without it, they are not vcampires in the true sense of the world. Let's face it, wearing a Rooney MU shirt doesn't give you a top heavy bank balance and a tendency ot occasioanl regrettable bahviour does it?
Vampires appear in folk myths all over the world. Bram Stoker based his on myths from his native Ireland. He set Dracula in Transylvania after reading Jules Verne's account of his travels there; Stoker never went there.
Yes but they stay in bat form even when not traveling and only feed off of cows and stuff.
