Do you have to be referred to a chiropractor by your doctor or can you just make an appointment to see one?

As far as i'm aware the NHS don't provide funding for chiropractic referrals.

That's what I wanted to know. Thank you both very much.
Where I am in the N.East, very many local doctors will refer to a chiropractor and will pay the fees for the patient.
Many chiros are self employed and you can make private appointments.
Just make sure they are registered. & if possible, get recomendations.
