Im taking Mr CRX to the World Superbikes at Brands at weekend.
On saturday eve we hope to meet up with friends and go for a meal, only problem is that we dont know the area.
Can anyone recommend somewhere that will take bookings that does general food, steaks, salads pastas etc as we have a party member who doesnt like spicy or foreign food lol
Weve tried a couple of places, beefeater and Harvester but they wont take bookings or are fully booked.

thanks Octavius, we had googled and come up with a few in the area, but was hoping that we may get some recommendations. Plus most of the googled and Yell'ed ones were indian or chinese, which i dont mind but we have to suit whole party.

not that Im really bothered cos ive just managed to get back into my leathers!!!! woohooo!!!
The Ship Inn in Southfleet was a good place, but I have not been there since I moved from Kent.

Slowish service but great grub, bit pricier than a harvester though! You do have to book though 'cause they hire the whole place for weddings and whatnot.

ooooh that looks lovely jon!

do you think theyll appreciate a load of bikers though? tank bags havnt got enough room in them for fancy gowns and suits :)
Well, based on the fact that they let me in I presume theyll let any old Herbert in! Looks snooty on there but its not really.

There is a harvester on the 226 just up the road from there if youd prefer. Have you tried calling them? They never seem that busy. I think they cater mainly for the golfers from Southern Valley. I dont think its that highly rated though, being on a main road I think they rely more on transient trade rather than repeat business so it can be a bit hit & miss.

yep, the Harvesters cant seat 14 people and wont hold tables :(

Question is will they appreciate you and Mr redcrx. lol

Of course theyll apreciate us! Especially when you compare us to the others :)
