current guidelines are 6 months. 4 months is early and i wouldnt advise earlier.

what makes you think baby is ready and how old are they
The piglet is 4 months old and as for weaning, ha, ha, ha, ha, not a chance, its more a face painting exercise and I swear there was more in the bowl by the time I finished!

I guess you will just know when the baby is ready (well thats what I am counting on). Mind you, if you were to listen to my mother (sadly I have to) you would plonk some baby rice in a bottle with some milk, make the hole in the teat bigger and hey presto. Dear god, I sometimes wonder how I and my siblings survived.

my baby is 13 weeks. she i very forward for her age and is doing things very early on. for example she is very active she can roll over from her back to her side and onto her back again (repeatedly) she loves her voice she will baby talk for hours at a time. she chews on her hand alot that or eveything she grabs goes into her mouth. she used to go through the night but is now waking for food. i wany to do what's best i don't want to upset her tummy but i don't want her to go hungry. if i talk to health visitor they will tell me wait that's their job but because of that i don't want to make my baby wait that she maybe ready for.
