I've heard that because i've got it.
My dad is diabetic - 18 yrs now, insulin controlled
my mum is - 6 years (I was at same time, we're both tablet controlled)
rest of my family arn't though.
I had gestational diabetes with my pregnancies which onset at 6 months and went as soon as the babies were born.
