Haircuts after school in uniform

Were you ever made to go to the barbers or hair salon straight after school still in uniform. i was and hated it lol i still remember the itchy collar after the barber had clippered me short. What haircut did you get too?

Short back and sides and just a bit off the top, and something for the weekend please.

LOL I got whined at by my teenage son for the itchy collar thing not long ago.

I remember that - the itchy collar was awful. That's possibly why I've never been for a haircut since I left school about 40 years ago!

After having been attacked by the regimental barber (some years ago) I don't know wether it was the hairs or that damned itchy shirt which was worst. I still have a military haircut but it costs more now.
