Hi Carlyon I have had both hips replaced in the last 4 years ,both ops done privately in Spain .The first one was fine but the trouble was me trying to do things too quickly ,I was told off by my surgeon for walking about with one crutch after only a few weeks trying to rush things ,when it came to the second one I researched the net which basically said be very careful for up to 6 months into which i read don't rush it .Now back to your question invariably people with bad hips have a lot of pain and limp so when the hip is repaired it must affect your back because of limping and pain I noticed on my xrays my cocyx was out of line for quite a while after surgery and it ached also when you think of the muscles they cut when operating it does take a while for that sort of pain to go.I would just check with your doctor to put your mind at rest.Good luck.
