Alcohol widens the blood vessels all over the body which increases the blood flow and this can cause red blotches and a 'rash'. It shouldn't be itchy, or flaky - just blotches of red. |

ok - thanks all of you :-) Tigwig - at least I know he's not the only one who has this weird reaction. It disappears a few hours later so I'm guessing if it were thrush (as skreecheeboy pointed out) it would stay. Tiggerblue - 4 a mo' I though Phil mitchel syndrome was a real illness (not being an eastenders fan) :-) ta 4 wilkipedia link Enthel - i htink urs is very plausible as Ethel ur right - apparently it's not itchy nor flaky - so like u say maybe just blood vessels widening.
