thats very true legend and its very sad as soon as i knew i set up a direct debit - lame mabye , i do sponser 3 other charities but it scared me x
I hate this as I had a friend who went through the same thing.
And I never suspected.
She fled with her young son in the end, after smashing a coffee table down on her leg.
She still walks with a slight limp.
Bar stood!
its sadly the norm.

xmas time

what can i say?
Sadly very few people are aware that this might be happening to a friend or neighbour. People keep quiet but as legend says Christmas can be a particularly bad time.

agree its scary bens mum

i have expereinced it once , at someone elses home and let me tell u i was petrified
would just like to add my ten peneth worth , A lot of the previous replies suggest that its only women who suffer domestic abuse, I for one was extremely suprised to hear from a mate of mine who said he had to get out of his relationship due to her being violent to him , I was taken aback by this , No one has to put up with abuse/violence whatsoever ,

My sister 25 years ago was being "slapped" around by my brother in law, when myself and my brother were told about it actioned it straight away , we took him out and gave him a "slapping" It was ugly at the time and could have split them up ,but he was taught a lesson shall we say , She never had any problems with him again and they are still together now,

For anyone thinking of doing this , 25 years ago was a different time law wise, you may not get away with it now !!!!
