What now?

There's a girl who likes me (8/10) but recently, I asked her out because my the friends of her (Who are mine too!) advised I me to. I did but she rejected me. Apparantly, she wants to know me better & she's not ready for a relationship beause of her previous one. I understand her answer but what should I do now to improve our relationship?
