stomach pain

does anyone have any idea what this illness is..........excruciating stomach pains after eating a hot meal (temperature hot, not spicy). The cramps last for about an hour and are all over the stomach, there is no temperature and toilet functions are normal. it is fine with cold food!!!! it is really wierd cos there are no other symptoms of illness apart from this pain????

i had something like this when i came back from india. in addition to the above i also had what i can only describe as bottom retching! you know when you are gonna be sick, but youve sicked everything up and you just heave. well that was happening with my poo. stomach was cramping to go but nothing there. lasted about 3 weeks. doc said id probably eaten some bacteria whilst away, and it had taken time to multiply to a level that caused a problem. i was told to avoid fatty food and oils which are hard to digest and go for clear soups for a while.
