levothroxine tablets

can anyone tell me what is happening.i have been on thyroxine tablets for about 7 years,
latery i have noticed my right side of my neck kept swelling up,my throad felt as though there was a lump in it,mood swings,no energy.
i forgot a few to take a couple of days tablets.
i noticed my moods charged,have loads of energy,no neck problems.
have had a blood test waiting for results.
have not told my doctor yet that i have stopped the tablets it has been 2 weeks now.
can anyone tell me what is going on?
am on 125mg of thyroid.

it could be that your body is not converting the thyroxine sufficiently, you can have a blood test for T3, but the doctors in this country are useless!
I would mention this to your doctor and see if you can get a referral to an endocrinologist, who will measure your t4(thyroxine) uptake and conversion (T3)
