If one believes that all things happen for a reason and there is a purpose behind everything we do.....Is there some kind of spiritual or soulview reasoning behind accidentaly killing or injuring an animal when driving on the road ?

I'd just like to see what others opinions on this are...I know its not a very important question on the scale of things and could even be laughed off as ridiculous....but Im distressed enough to want to come to an understanding on this matter...
Thanks kindly for any replies

No, if you accidentally did it and not knowlingly ran into what ever it was, then I would say not. But if you swerved to hit it on purpose and squidged the poor thing into the tarmac, then shame on you!
I think karma wise you should be ok!
Believers in God, Say that God knows everything, past, present and all things to come, but allows us ro find our own way,

Going on that premise, then even though God could save these innocent creatures, he doesn't, so in answer to your question, no spiritual intevention whatever.

As for souls, Christians Muslims and Jews don't believe other creatures have one, other reigions do.

.....I do believe in something "more" and firmly believe we, as do animals, have a soul, though ofcourse I think human souls are more developed in one kind of way.
I think I just needed to hear other people tell me what I already knew.....I know if something was an accident then thats exactly what it is, an accident! I am not to blame and I knew that but still felt awful for being the cause of pain and suffering to another living thing.
