Would you feel deserted if you stopped working

What i mean is would you feel like you had deserted the econamy if you stopped working, either from lazyness or winning lots of money etc.

Not at all, if you stop working you must still have an income of some sort and every � you spend is taxed, you buy clothes, you pay tax, go to the pub..taxed, buy a packet of fags,,taxed, put petrol in your car.. must I go on.

scrounging yes,otherwise no, if you can support yourself why not ? some people take low paid jobs just to prove that they still can contribute to the community,depends on the person.

id do anything so i wouldnt have to work again, i just dont have that "work ethic" i only want the money, im not motivated, i dont care, i just do the job cuz i want the cash, simple as. i cant be bothered to "smile" at customers. its not my problem, not my concern if that customer shops else where, its not my company, i dont get the profits, why should i care!? if i won the lottery, id quit straight away. and live quite happily at home with my parents! sad? perhaps, but id be happy. so much happier than when im at work, 99% of the time i feel depressed working. but i wouldnt feel like ive deserted the economy. the economy isnt my problem. as long as im sorted, everyone else can deal with it whilst i chill out on the sofa!

I did miss work for a while - now I dont, but do miss adult conversation when mr Boob is at work!

If I won lots of money or If I had a baby and took time out from work no.

I couldn't just stop working though and do nothing whatsoever and have no money - it would drive me mad with boredom and I think it would alter the self respect I hold.
