I get my bus pass in January .....if I ever behave like some of the old people in the previous posts you have my permission to shoot me .And ... I don't save up ..I'm spending the kids inheritance.. ..so there !

I work in a care home for the elderly and I have never had so much fun at work, they are far from miserable and you really can learn so much from them and they are so appreciative!!

I know there are some miseries but generally if you give them a bit of time and make a few allowances they are as happy as the rest of us!!

i could not work looking after old people noooooo way well done to all you that do . my sister does i take mick asking what she does when the old man gets a bone on . she hits it with a pen she said lol think she was joking .

Well put Ratter! Speaking for myself, I've never had any problems with or from "Oldies". In fact, I look up to them,don't forget they fought for us. My son in law works as a carer and one of the lady's has just died at the age of 103! She was kind,polite and would tell many tales of the past.,some amusing,some not but, she was loved by everyone at the home and will be missed. Just last week I played hell with the post office assistant who was actually shouting at a confused pensioner. They deserve our help not scorn!

Sleep1, like you say she was joking, erections amongst the elderly in care homes are a rarity I imagine, most of them forgot what they ever had it for, let alone what to do with it now!!

Most of them cant even use it for peeing with and are fitted with catheters!!
