It is never weak to accept that you are wrong and apologise, if you cannot win the argument its better to agree to disagree!! Arguing is generally a pointless exercise yet most of do it to some degree!! 21:38 Sat 05th May 2007 I forgot to mention my last full scale argument was with an Ex g/f about 3 years ago. 21:39 Sat 05th May 2007 About a fortnight ago.Wirh an ex.Dont backdown just for peace.Stick to your guns if youre right and others are being sneakey or underhand then dont let them away with it.No way jose .lol 21:46 Sat 05th May 2007 i agree with you legend, although i don't like arguing. i stay away from them. 21:52 Sat 05th May 2007 About six weeks ago with my ex. Never back down if you're right! I was right and only backed down when a lovely policeman called Nick came to my rescue lol 21:54 Sat 05th May 2007 Not too long ago........ Well, once you have proven your point, the argument is pretty much over. If the other person still doesn't 'get it', tough. 00:29 Sun 06th May 2007 I had a full scale blown argument with my dog last night I tried to get her chewey stick of her and she kept barking at me and I told her to fruck orf I am hungry and she then started to chew my leg so I eventually had to give redhead her chewy stick back 08:08 Sun 06th May 2007 I dont have arguments...except on here....xxx 10:34 Sun 06th May 2007 Oh good. are we going to have a big barney? What's todays topic? 12:26 Sun 06th May 2007 Arguments are based on logic and reasoning. However, logic has its limitation. In the 1930s, Austrian mathematician Godel proved a theorem which became the "Godel theorem" in cognition theory. It states that any formalized 'logical' system in principle cannot be complete in itself. It means that a statement can always be found that can be neither disproved nor proved using the means of that particular system. To discuss about such a statement, one must go beyond that very logic system; otherwise nothing but a vicious circle will result. Psychologist say that any experience is contingent - it's opposite is logically possible and hence should not be treated as contradictory. 11:33 Mon 07th May 2007 No he didn't. 20:01 Tue 08th May 2007 I don't argue, I walk away. I like peace. 20:13 Tue 08th May 2007
