emo's are much like every other teen angst group, punks,goths,ravers ect...

I tend to glaze over when they are mentioned, Im sure like all the other teenage rebellion groups they have strong beliefs in their identity, however most of the time its a phase, they grow up and lets face it you dont see many 40something emo's ,punks,goths ect..

the ones that never move past this tend to be in the minority, they are normally laughed at like 50 something hippies who were radical and trendy in the 60s

Have to agree tht it's all down to tast e- everyone has different tastes (good job too!) I'm in my 50's and get told to grow up at work because I like all sorts of rock music, including emo but there's good and bad with all types. Live and let live!
