carly, no not pesonally but you gotta be strong. my friend lost all her hair through chemo, but she retained a positive mental attlitued, which is what you must do.Dont mean to be rude but f8ck the wig if it doesn't feel comfortable, this is about you not about any one else's opinion. You are going through a very traumatic exerience and only you can deal with it, in the best way you see fit.

I wish you health and Happiness

ooh, it's not nice is it carly? I lost all of mine (albeit a long time ago) but I haven't forgotten the horror of the dreaded wig & I've never really understood women who want to wear one when they don't need to.

There are some hairdressers who have been trained to style wigs which might make it look different on you - it's different to normal cutting, so don't let just anyone loose on it. Can't help much with the itching I'm afraid & they do get a bit warm don't they? My hair grew back lovely & thick & quite quickly once it started.

Don't worry about it too much, the most important thing is for to you get better asap & I hope the treatment isn't too gruelling for you.

Take care x

I agree with warpig. Don't wear a wig if you don't feel comfortable with it, and you must most certainly not wear it for the sake of others!

I wish you all best and send much love. xx
My Neice is having chemo and either wears a baseball cap or a bandanna if she goes out in the cold weather, they suit her but she often leaves her head bare.Hated her wig.Be comfortable with whatever suits you and best wishes for your recovery.
hi carly1
Ive been thinking about you since your posting last week.
I didnt lose my hair so I cant help much.
I think it depends on the weather. A wig is probably more comfortable in cooler weather, and a scarf or cap when it is warm.
Sending lots of love.
Hi carly1

I wish you a speedy recovery.

Hi Carly 1, I do so know what you are going through and wish you every success for your treatment! I lost nearly all my hair and it did take a fair while to come back, but when it did it was thicker and shinier than ever before. So, don't worry too much. The people who loved you with hair will love you just as much without hair and when it grows back again you can have a "welcome back to my hair party"! That's when you show off your new hair and everyone else has to wear a really bad wig!!! Can be great fun! Best wishes to you and a big support hug! XXX :o)
