Sore throat

I had my tonsils out about 4 months ago but since then I had a sore throat upon waking - it goes away when I get up. Has anyone else had this trouble?

Hi, I had mine out when I was 19. I had a sore throat on and off for months. I went back to the Dr and was given a liquid medicine, unfortunately I have no idea what it was called. If you're concerned, just call your DR, I'm sure he'd be happy to set you mind at ease or prescribe something for the pain.
