Firstly, may I say that this was practically the only thing worth watching over the entire Holiday period from December 23rd until January 1st. Secondly (and this is my question really), in last night's episode, Geraldine commented on one of Alice's previous suggestions - that pubic hair be burnt instead of coal as it was more readily available. After we had all laughed ourselves silly at this, someone asked exactly what purpose does pubic hair have.

errrmm,....it keeps you warm in winter??
My hubby reckons he learnt in biology that you have hair on the weakest parts of your body and therefore acts as protection, what exactly chest hair protects I have no idea!
