My theory (having never even watched a single episode) is that they have sold out to Sky so that the true fans figure nowhere in the broadcasting plans - how many series are the BBC going to sell out !!

well my theory was they all had quite dodgy pasts and were all put on that island together to bring the best out of each other and give themselves a second chance if you like,... but at the end of the last series im not so sure...however they could just be makin it up as they go along!!!!
