No. It will tell you this on the information leaflet you got with the penicillin and the pharmatist should have told you when you got the prescription.
There are plenty of reasons for being cautious about alcohol, but taking penicillin isn't one of them. In fact, it's OK to drink alcohol with nearly all antibiotics, though just a few might make you nauseous. So read the label carefully.

Alcohol will decrease the effectiveness of the penicillin and will decrease the immune response by the body. Alcohol may also irritate your stomach if taken with penicillin, so use it with moderation.
i am not allowed penicillin at all as i am allergic to it but i can have alcohol.
Hey Dot, so am I. Was given an overdose as a child which landed me in a coma for a few hours, so have to stay away from it now.

To be honest dantheman, the best rule is -

NEVER mix alcohol with medication of any kind!!!

Everyone reacts differently but it has been proven that alcohol diminishes or masks the effects of most meds. So why take the risk? Be safe not sorry!
