The guests on all of the quiz shows, talk shows, reality shows etc. must be from somewhere. Just wondered if any of you have had your 15 minutes or know anyone who has?
I have to admit, my only claim to fame is meeting The Chuckle Brothers when i was 12.

Yes Ive been on the news being interviewed, Ive been on trisha (in audience) and I was on Get Fresh if anyone remembers the Saturday morning childrens programme with Gilbert the snot alien :-)
Not really... I make up part of the audience of 8 out of 10 cats regularly though. Oh, and Russell Grant is a good friend of my nan's, so I've met him lots. :o)
The AB ED [the old one ={ ] mentioned me in her blog!
glen michaels cartoon cavalcade came to my primary school when i was 7 and so i was in the audience !!
My mum has a blue peter badge.

Dad or uncle (can't remember which) used to box with Liam Neeson (sp).... bloke from Star Wars and Shindlers (sp) List etc...

Vinny Jones used to go in to dads pub when he was younger, apparently he's a 'nice bloke.'

I once met Chas and Dave.... oh the exciting life I lead.
My daughter and I were on the news and in all the papers years ago when that was that scare with glass being found in baby food jars - and I found glass in a jar of her food.We had camera crews outside the front door all day - sooo embarassing!! I still have the papaers and ITV sent me a tape of the episode on that nights news.
I was in a magazine a few weeks ago (pls don't ask me why! Too ashamed to admit it on here lol) & had a call last week asking me to go on Trisha but i turned it down.
I'm also on a video interview for a website.
& that's about it!!!
now faye - you cant not tell us now!!
My daughter and I were on BBC news once 2000 I think, Queens Golden Jubilee year anyways, interviewed about why we'd gone to Trooping the Colour...oh the fame lol...a friend in Scotland text me asking if he'd just seen me on the tv lol
Ooh! I have a Blue Peter badge too! :o)
I have been on television twice, once interviewed by Julie or Judith Langsford I think it was for Country File on the subject of ferrets and once filmed as terrier man for The Devon and Cornwall Mink Hounds, and once had a full page article written about me in the Daily Mail on the subject of moles (the little furry creatures) as a mole trapper.
I bottled out on Millionaire at 64,000. It's not fun in that chair.
I played the part of Frau Schrader in The Sound of Music at our daughter's school play - three night's on the trot!

(Although initially, after auditions, they asked if I'd like to play the part of Maria, but I had to decline - too many lines to learn at the grand old age of 29 & I was working at the time too)!
i presume you gave the money to charity Whiffey, cause i would as i am so rich and posh anyway, im never out of the papers these days and get loads of money for my stories. : ).
I have been a Great Britain Champion three times and World Champion twice, which earned me a little bit of fame in my younger years - amongst certain circles at least.
Champion in what Octavious??Pray tell!
I must be a real attention seeker as I've been on Fifteen to One, 100Per Cent (three times!), and Weakest Link.
Really enjoy the break from routine and also get free travel and night in hotel away from all responsibilities.
And yes, I was the weakest link.
I was on Light Lunch with Mel and Sue (bunking off school and got spotted in the audience - Whoops). I am in a club scene in Human Traffic (filmed in Cardiff when I was a uni student), I asked Isla Fisher a question on Live and Kicking and my all time best - I was once on Songs of Praise as an alter girl at the age of 7, not really been back to church since, the fame was too much!

My best friend is much better, her NY resolution a few years back was to get on TV as many times as possible, she did Trisha, Vanessa (both times on the stage as a guest) Dale Wintons Other Half with her husband (they won a holiday), Blue Peter with her daughter and Supermarket Sweep.
Was in the crowd for Later with Jools Holland when REM and Orbital were on it a few years ago. Went to the after show party too (vague connection to India Area's promoter) and spoke to Chris Moyle's brother.

Better than that though was meeting Paul Daniels and the lovely Debbie McGee. A high up chap in the Magic Circle used to live over the road from me and Mr Daniels used to pop round in his Jag e-type.

Apparently I appeared in a PYO Strawberry field advert when I was 2 years old too.
Been on crime stoppers.
