There seem to be a lot of poorly cats at the mo!
I have a six week old kitten (Matilda) who is not yet on solid food, we are just feeding her cat milk and water.
However, yesterday (7ish last night) she took it upon herself to polish off my other's cat food, biscuits and all, whilst I was doing the washing up. She has since had .... erm.... tummy troubles, namely diahorrea, and sleeping loads, I have been trying to get her to drink a little water but that is all. She is still sleeping. Anyone had experience of this before, and should I get her to drink more water or let her sleep it out of her system?

Why isn't she eating kitten food yet? at her age she should be weaned on to solids
Agree, at that age she should be eating solids. She probably nicked the other cats food as was starving hungry.

She WILL ahve a bad tummy as the adult food will be too heavy for her to cope with, especially if she hasnt eaten before.

If she still has diorrhea today then I would suggest you get her to the vets. Diorrhea and sickness in pets can be bad very quickly.

You can't really make her drink more than she wants, at 6 weeks old she's going to sleep a fair bit anyway.

She really ought to be on kitten food by now, try giving her some dry kitten food until her tummy clears up, if she can manage to chew it
oh dear! yes, she very much should be on kitten food, for about 2-3 weeks now!! she must have been so starving. Please, if she is not better take her to the vets, and once she is well, she needs to be started on kittten food before more damage to her bones and muscles is done.

She wouldn't take solid food, it turned out she had meningitis, which explains it now.
