Motherly love means that you would bear any pain or discomfort to keep your children safe and well, knowing that there will never, ever be anything or anybody more precious to you. It's knowing that you will always have a connection to your child that can never be broken however far apart you may be. It's a warm grateful feeling that you have been able to see your child grow and blossom into a unique and wonderful human being, regardless of what they may or may not achieve

I used to believe that love was a socially constructed idea created by the norms of society. Now i realise that there are so many different passionate types of love that you cannot define it into one sensible well thought out definition. Your know what it is when you find it.
