im thinking about having a sunbed for the first time what do i say when i walk in to the tanning shop?

Exactly what you just put should do and they'll let you know what you require.

You should just go in and tell them you want to go on the sunbeds for the first time. If it's a reputable tanning shop, they will look at your skin type and recommend how long and which type of sunbed to go on. If you burn easily, don't go on for more than 6 mins (3mins ideally) and gradually build it up. I would suggest that if your going on to build up a tan rather than just the one off, buy a block booking as it usually works out cheaper and use them spaced out. I have been goign on now for about 3 months and I am up to 9 mins a session.... and even if I do say so myself, my tans looking quite good! ;0)

Sarah obviously its up to you but you hear about skin cancer and awful things all the time.

thats what i was gonna say too, sunbeds rnt the best way to look great but different strokes for different folks :-) or maybe that should be streaks :-)

id recommend going on for 3 mins and gradually building it up, they arent the best way to get a tan beacuse of the risk of skin cancer, but that is your personal decision!
