Difference between G-strings and T-strings

Whats the difference between them?

I dont know for sure cos i dont wear em but i would guess that T Strings are the ones that are just a thin piece of cotton that goes straight down from the waistband ( like a T i guess) at the back rather that that triangle piece. If you get what i mean

T strings have are literaly string at the back, so the string forms a T shape, but a G string has a sort of triangle instead of the T, where the material gets wider. G strings are more common.
