No, nothing bad, wasn’t really watching, it was on mute, someone gave her roses, maybe they were named after her? And I think she is getting an OBE or a Damehood or something soon. But Tanner .. that was Elsie!! I used to love Corrie in the ‘old days’ but too much violence now, as depressing as East Enders and Emmerdale.

Crikey.When I watched it in B/W Dennis Tanner was a mere youth of about 18. I thought Rita was pretty ancient when she managed the corner shop. Can't imagine those wed.
