I finally had my facet joints denervation yesterday. I noticed when I tried to go to sleep, but my heart was beating very fast and hard, and a bit irregular. It seems to be okay now. Is the side effect of surgery? I only had sedation as a day surgery case.

Quite common after surgery and is invariably no big deal.
Many causes including side effects of sedation.
Not to worry.

Thank you sqad. Also, I meant to ask, my blood pressure was really high, the whole time, and I heard them say I had undiagnosed hypertension. I recently had a calcium scan which was absolutely fine. Just wondered what else could be causing the high blood pressure?
Well, your "undiagnosed hypertension" will need to be investigated.
A letter from the hospital following your operation to your GP will bring this to light and your GP wil act upon it.
