can anyone tell me what these are called and where might I get them? Walking sticks with small palm of a hand at the top into which one places their own palm enabling the user to put weight onto the stick?

Comfy grip or palm grip. Make sure you get the correct one for whichever hand you hold it with, left or right.
If you google walking stick with hand shaped top you will find several make sure you specify right or left

Order online, Amazon for instance, or go to one of those mobility type shops. That’s probably better as you can try them and adjust the height.
Fischer grip sticks. I have them to reduce the stress on my hands and wrists as it is a more natural position with the weight going through the palm rather than fingers.

I use them too. Much more comfortable than other walking sticks and give more stability. Using two gives a better posture.
