Aside from walking everywhere (when the weather allows) i have a one-hour indoor exercise routine which incorporates aerobics, push-ups, sit-ups, walking up and down the stairs 10 times, bending, stretching, etc, etc, etc. I slept much better than i do now, and i also woke feeling refreshed and ready to face the day.
Not done it for a while and have put a little weight back on (having lost 6.5 stone between 2010 and 2012). Now that i am (almost) fully retired, i intend to resume my walking and my daily exercise routine.

If nothing else, it does eat a couple of hours of each day :-)
Tora, I've actually got a pair of 2.5kg weights that I use every day. I think I'll give that powerlifting a miss though!

I should add that i also changed my diet considerably back in 2010. The weight-loss wasn't all down to my exercise routine. Don't want anyone thinking a few push-ups will shift years of neglect.
I weight train twice a week, started off very low at 8 reps, added 1 a week to 15 and the added a kilo to the bar and back to 8 reps. Built it up over time and almost at my limit. I do feel better
I get plenty of exercise - social climbing, running people down, jumping to conclusions. I feel quite exhausted some days!
I feel for you Bro,,,
I wear myself out flogging dead horses
