I know that it isn't compulsory but when you need it to travel or do certain things so as to not stay at home I beleive it is compulsory. Also if I was rich with 20 employees I could do what I want. I am really fearful of what is coming I need to take sleeping tablets nearly every night these days. Is it just me? Rna vaccines are new and not tested and from what I understand from medical microbiology they can change your dna potentially. Is it just me that is thinking what is going to happen will be catastrophic:( I feel like mother shipton

In six months time by the time you are offered it you may have made your mind up. Forget about it for now and just take care
I think its normal to feel anxious, its been a horrible year.

Do some reading from reliable sources and make your mind up from there.... take care xx

//Rna vaccines are new and not tested//
Not sure what your meaning. This vaccinnes been tested and approved
no one has said for a fact that anyone will need to be vaccinated to be able to travel or do anything...at least not here in the UK. i am not sure why being rich or employing people makes/will make any difference. The vaccine that is going to be used first has been tested and it has been said very clearly that the fear thast it can change your DNA is categorically not true. Can I suggest that you are more selective in where you get your news and information? Try FullFact, Snopes and medical research websites rather than fake news, fake conspiracy, facebook and youtube.
This went onto the wrong vaccinne thread before, apolagies.

You might want to read this. It might reassure you but of course anyone who beleives this is a conspirocy and the scientists and goverments are lying to us won't be convinced by the full fact checks
RNA cannot effect DNA, end of.
The DNA allegation is FAKE fear mongering by the anti-vac loonies.
funny, i said that canary and my post was removed
no one is gonna force you to have the vaccine
Was'nt your rempved post saying a giant virus would eat Uk anonamous, Torra?
I can't remember the wording of the removed post but thought it was sneering at the OP's fear
The two mRNA vaccines you are likely to encounter are the Pfizer-BioNtech and the Moderna. Both of these will not affect your DNA. The mRNA never enters the cell nucleus where the DNA resides so it cannot affect your DNA no matter what you read on the web. The cell instead breaks down the mRNA after it has completed its instructions and gets rid of the broken down products. The nucleus never comes into contact with the mRNA.

The vaccine does not contain live virus and does not cause disease in the vaccinated person.
ukanonymous You're not the only one feeling anxious.I have loads of questions I would like to ask about it but don't know who to ask. I'll look at the links to see if the answers to any of my questions are there. I was also thinking today that this virus will be for this strain. If someone were to bring another strain of it to this country, we will be back at square one.
PP, that's hardly a useful comment to assuage the concerns of the OP is it? One would have thought that given your profound knowledge you could have done better.

I find it quite ironic that no one appears to have provided links to the websites of genuine organisations in order to assuage the very real concerns of the OP. Would it not be better to provide a link to a website of integrity rather than mention the likes of Snopes etc? It's not difficult to separate the wheat from the chaff.
The vaccine has been tested and approved.

You already need innoculations to go to several countries, for example yellow fever, typhoid, etc etc,

But if you are worried, consider this. Unless you're very high priority then, before you even have a chance of being vaccinated, millions and millions of other people will have been vaccinated for several months.
Ellipsis it's not the months I'm worried about, it's the years.
Barsel, you have raised very pertinent points. When you refer to a strain, you are loosely referring to a mutation. Virus mutations are a very real concern to us all
Ellipses, consider this. Vaccination does not prevent a Covid-19 positive patient that is asymptomatic from passing on the infection others.
"to others"
