Food Parcels For The Extremely Vulnerable

Does anyone know if there is a nationwide scheme in the current crisis to provide food parcels to the extremely vulnerable? I know two people living in different areas who fall into this category. One is being inundated with food parcels, the other is getting nothing.

Any information gratefully received.

There are food parcels available from some supermarkets i.e. Morrisons and M&S. Maybe others.
The local council may know of groups providing support in the area. We have a local one run by students for instance.
Also, sign up to the government register for vulnerable people. You need your NHS number. 08000288327. You should be contacted by the Shielding Helpline, which will ring from the number 03333050466.
