just watched a critical care nurse getting upset because after a 48 hour shift she can't find any food to feed her over the next 48hours .I hope all the hoarders saw this and are feeling rotten about their greedy ways .

She had just finished a 14h shift, not 48!
Nonetheless, it was very upsetting!
Yes saw it .
An absolute disgrace.
Those people should be ostracised and mocked publically for their selfish behaviour.
If I was her I'd get myself up to the canteen at work.

Maybe she was on her way when accosted by a newshound with a nose for a story.
i really felt sorry for her, very emotional piece
Question Author
sorry I thought she said 48
The canteen won't supply her necessary shopping will it?
Do people not have food in their cupboards?
No, but it will keep body and soul together until the Tesco truck unloads.

This is not yet eating rats and crows in an African setting.

she wanted fresh stuff .she said she needs to stay healthy to help us ,it was quite upsetting watching her
Lol. You sound like Marie Antoinette, ummmm.
I think a lot of people these days don't seem to have 'store cupboards'. Maybe its a generation thing, who knows, but my daughter does a menu for one week and buys just the food for the menus that week. A lot of people rely on take outs too. I thought that video was a set up actually. She seems a bit unbalanced to me.
AUNT POLLY GRAY!!! Wash your mouth out with soap substitute!
I know how she feels I started work at 6 am yesterday and finished at 7 pm I stopped for some beers at the supermarket the shelves were empty in tesco and lidl
I got my beer but I felt so sorry for the staff in lidl they looked so tired and had been abused so many times having to limit pasta, flour and even water
Shelves totally stripped of door hinges and lavatory brushes.
Disgraceful!
i have watched it several time and she did say 48 hour shift....
Question Author
thanks emmie I don't need to get my ears checked x
'i have watched it several time and she did say 48 hour shift....'

Yes Emmie - she did say she just completed a 48 hour shift.
Perhaps it is me who needs their ears tested?
I am still convinced that she said 14!
48 hours does seem like long time to work, especially in a job where attention to detail is so important.
