Order Of Service

I went to a funeral and was given an order of service with a photo on the front of said person that died and I'm reluctant to throw it away, but at the same time I'm reluctant to keep it, what would you do in these circumstances?

The memories you hold for that person aren't linked to that piece of paper. I'd throw it away, you don't need to hold on to it.

I have kept all of them that have photos on them. I never take them out of the box, but can't bring myself to throw them out.

Put it in a shoe box in the loft, with all those other items you are not sure what to do with.

It depends on how well you knew the person. I went to a 17year old friend of my son's funeral 20 years ago, I still have that order of service and have never been able to throw it away.

I tend to keep them, I rather assumed that was the point of them aside form being a useful guidebook for the service itself.

I always keep those of people who were close to me. Others, I throw away or leave behind in the crematorium.

I think it depends on how close you were to the person. I would keep it for a while then smile, remember, and then throw it away.
