I missed a bit on Monday and a bit last night. Regarding the money Ken burnt, please can someone explain why Adam needed to pay so much to the man who'd bought the drugs off him.

Apparently Adam had had an affair with drug dealer's girlfriend so he demanded the money back because of this. He has threatened Adam and all his family if he doesn't return the money.

He found out Adam had been sleeping with his girlfriend and wanted the money back as 'compensation'.

Thanks. I knew Adam had had an affair and saw the bit where he was puzzled about how Adam knew her but I must have missed the bit where he found out there had been an affair

The drug dealer started asking his girlfriend about her knowing Adam after Adam got hold of the money...we must assume he threatened her before threatening Adam.

Yes, we saw him being aggressive with her after the money/drug exchange

I'm not sure that we were shown how and when he discovered this. He just turned up at the Rovers and demanded the money. There seems to have been a lot of gaps in the plot lines lately. Maybe they need new editors.

They all live not 200 yards from the Rovers yet all have Overcoats and Scarves on when they go there.Ridiculous.

I thought I had missed an episode but now realise I haven't! Maybe they need an 'on the previous episode' intro at the start like they do in US programmes.
