Hi all,
I know there's pro's & con's either way but I'm in the process of having a small kitchen refitted and would love some help on trying to decide which would be better.
I would so appriciate it if anyone could guide me as I really have no clue.

Thank you all so much

Hi, Pussyfoot......I've always had a fridge/freezer til this house....no room so I have an under counter fridge and I hate it.....

Could just be me but it's harder to keep neat and to see where things are....the fridge above the freezer at eye level was so much better......

One day I'll get up....knock down half a wall....and get a fridge/freezer....☺
I agree with gness - fridge/freezer for me.

I like my fridge at eye-level - being 6ft 3in it's a pain in the back always groping under counters for the milk.
Like Gness I can only have an under counter...and I hate it for the same reasons. I get backache and strained knees trying to rearrange things...hence it seems messy all the time.
Mine looks messy, Pasta.....I've bought plastic, lidless boxes to try to keep things neat but it doesn't work.....

And as getting up and down gets more difficult each birthday I can envisage the day I'll have to have a rope attached to the ceiling to haul myself back up again....☺
Something has to go under the worktops so some here are going to have problems anyway. I'd have thought that the kitchen style dictates. If you wish to maximise worktop then have it under. If you want under worktop to be all drawers/cupboards then sacrifice worktop for a full height fridge/freezer.
I would say that it depends on how much food you need to freeze as to whether you need a separate freezer.
