The Vaz claimed £100 to rent a room of himself. Or did he? His agent says no money changed hands. Does anyone understand what this monkey is up to now?

Money seems no object where Leicester Council is concerned, although when it comes to children's services and elderly care.

For your information NO candidate spent anywhere close to the amount legally permitted.

So what is the point of your post .?
Yes that is what I was wondering
I'd be interested to know how much Tory Central office spent in our neighboring constituency "supplementing" the expenditure of the local candidate with mail shots

Can you not read? I don't care how much anyone spends. Answer the question I did ask, if you can.

A question that is rather inscrutable therefore probably unanswerable
Not sure what the point of your question is. They were within the legal spend limits.

The Conservatives spent less because they were not going to win these seats
Svejk.........Yes I am able to read, otherwise I don't suppose I would be visiting this forum.

Please do try not to be so rude ,as I was only answering your original extract from that illustrious organ the Leicester Mercury.
It amazes me how frequently the Right supporters still find it necessary to attack a Party which hasn't been in power now for over five years.

Perhaps it's because they feel so insecure about their Tory Party's activities - which is hardly surprising really.

If you don't want people to be 'rude' to you, sir oracle, don't dish it out.
Let me just reiterate for the not so swift, I don't care how much anyone spends to get elected. If I did, I'd ask a question about it.
What I care about is sleazy MPs on the fiddle, be they Labour or Conservative or anything else. We just happen to be having a glut from Labour recently.
I really hoped that someone could explain why Vaz rented a room from himself although, allegedly, no money changed hands.
And, for future reference, I don't support the conservatives, so there's no need to get so 'tribal'.
