Hi the last couple of days I've fancied peanut butter and I've been eating quite a bit on sandwiches. It is really weird but I've had really shaky legs for the last couple of days they feel like jelly and I'm getting a lot of acid reflux I'm now worried I've got this anaphylaxis shock but I'm 43 would I not have had an allergic reaction before now? It feels as if I have something stuck in my gullet I've taken esomeprazole and gaviscon it feels slightly better now how would I know if I was having an allergic reaction

To be honest,I doubt it. The acid reflux is not a symptom of anaphylaxis as far as I know. I suspect you may just be eating too much. I also would think you may be getting a bit nervous/stressed...hence the " lump in the throat" sensation.http://www.webmd.com/allergies/tc/peanut-allergy-overview

Thanks
Gordie, given your diabetes it might be that the shakey legs are warning of a hypo. Peanut butter is loaded with carbs and combined with the bread, you may be overdoing the carbs altogether.
The acid reflux may be indigestion from the fatty content of the peanut butter, especially if you also used butter / margarine.
Mosaic...if he is " overdoing the carbs" he would be hyper, not hypo.

I agree with the post of pastafreak.
It's probably your mind/body finally deciding to remind you how utterly revolting the taste and smell of peanuts are, and giving you the shakes to encourage you to avoid consuming such things in future.

As for the stuck in gullet and acid reflux, I get a lot of that lately and I don't use peanut substances.
