Has anyone got any suggestions for good anti-allergy eye drops? I bought some yesterday that are 2% sodium cromoglicate and they don`t seem to do anything at all.

I use Optrex Itchy Eye Drops.
So...sodium chromoglycate isn't working.......a type of antihistamine.

You could try Otrovine-anthistin eye drops....but my bet is they also will prove inadequate....but you could try them.

If all fails and you are in trouble then you may get relief from Predsol........they have their limitations, but work like magic if used for a short sharp effect............also if your Dr is prepared to prescribe them.
I use ripital...on prescription

Thanks for the replies. I might try the Otrivine anthisin (I did see that at the chemist but opted for the other one) I have used one in the past which was really good for me - Alcon Naphcon A but you can`t get it here.

Does anyone remember boracic acid crystals that your mum used to put into hot water and bathed your eyes with? I`m sure that was more effective than the concoctions you can buy from Boots these days. I haven`t found anything that works that I can buy over the counter in this country. Maybe the old remedies are the best
I use Optrex for Itchy Eyes
I get mine on prescription, and some Beconase I've had some awful sinus headaches recently. I did buy an eyebath which cooled my eyes down.

The best thing that I have found is a cotton wool ball soaked in really cold water. Nothing else seems to do the trick. I`m not looking forward to going back to work tomorrow whilst wearing eye make up and contact lenses.
