I was diagnosed with an interactive thyroid 9 years ago and take thyroxin every day and have 3 monthly blood tests and my levels are correct the problem is I really suffer badly with a sensitivity to the cold. I can go for a 1/2 hour walk and end up under a blanket for the rest of the day! It's manly my bottom and thighs that are effected. I usually take a bath which eases it but I was wondering if there is something else I can take or do to make it stop! I've got thermals and hand warners but nothing works!

the presence or absence of fat does make sense.....

Sqad, for quite a while, we had a lot of variation between being hypo and hyper and she was down down to monthly to two monthly tests, things the past eighteen months stabilising out, along with things like blood pressure and weight......(thank goodness - as I am no great fan of being in doctor's surgeries at the best of times). Now we are back on three monthly tests and just been through that with her bp checked as well.
Dtc, I've see -sawed many times / been borderline & not felt great at all.
