I know, I know; you're getting tired of hearing about me and clocks; however, a friend and i are going to drive about 50 miles tomorrow to look at some. Is there one here that you would like me to send you? http://i61.tinypic.com/348hwsg.jpg

I rather like the look of the one on the top shelf, second from the right with the carry handle on the top.

But lets face it, you're winding me up!!
I'd like a nice clock for my kitchen...prefably one that didn't tock!

You might know that an Aussie would like a clock with a coup'la Sheilas on it:)

Cupid04, a real clock ticks and toks to you: a mere quartz (battery) clock just tells you the precise time:)
Put yer specs on old mate, not the one in the corner the one to the right of it.

Here's the deal send me the square one with a handle on the top (it is the second one from the right, enlarge the photo) and I'll send you my old pair of specs ;-/

Oh! The carriage clock. I'll check it out. For reason, I like the first one on the 3rd shelf down. By the way, this is only one photo of five shelves!
Have a lovely time Stuey...everyone needs a hobby. I do like clocks just not noisy ones, lol!

Cupid04, then you wouldn't want to meet my friend: his name is Big Ben:)
Why that one Stuey? Age, manufacturer, style?
I've got a friend whose got one of them clocks that chimes every half hour as well as a cuckoo clock...How she sleeps I don't know...
Tell you what, I wouldn't mind a sundial for my back garden...
We have a replica Grandfather clock, it's only about 50 - 55 years old, had the chimes turned off since we had kids as it used to wake them.
I find the tick tocking rather pleasant myself.

I don't know, 1ozzy. Perhaps because of the simplicity of its design. That's part of the hobby I guess...Picking and choosing and evaluating.

Cupid04, in my spare time I'm working on my thesis for my PhD which is entitled "The Sex Life Of the African Tsetse Fly":)
When I was a young fella I worked with an ancient engineer. His hobby was designing and making clocks. He would make every single component from scratch and his woodworking mate would make the cases. I was naive enough to ask him "how much for one of your clocks?". He just smiled nicely and said "dream".
Stuey...Have you ever smelt mothballs?
Well Cupid, if you have a mothball in each hand you would have total control of the worlds largest moth ;-)

I am a member of a site named NAWCC. There are quite a few members from Australia, Tasmania, New Zealand, and just about any other country you could mention...Anyway, my clocks are about to ding 11pm. Goodnight to you all, and nice tocking to you.
I was waiting for stuey to answer yes...

Then I say...how do you get your nose between them? lol!
