Hi, my knees are knackered but not knackered enough for surgery yet and consultant said surgery might make things worse so these have been suggested.

Just wondering if anyone else has had any of these and how they found them.

Exercise like cycling which is a bit of an issue...because of my knees. Walking in water seems to be the only suggested way forwards for now.

I am quite disappointed as had got my hopes up a bit but such is life.
Yes I can quite understand your disappointment, Eve. So it's going to be walking in water for now then.

Yup. Am hoping I will be able to swim again some day (knee, hip and shoulder issues mean I currently flail and sink!) but it's actually lovely being in the water and it being so much easier to move, been loving hydrotherapy and it's a specially heated pool too! :) Have run out of my sessions so need to brave a proper pool and find a quiet time where I can just go for a bit of a wander round the pool and hopefully keep up some of my other exercises.
Good idea, Eve. A quiet time may be a bit difficult to find at the moment though, it's the school's summer hols.
