Sorry to hear that emmie, are you on any new medication?

Not sure if that could cause the bruising but best to start trying to eliminate things.
You should mention them next time you see a dr, but you could just be banging into things or knocking things against your legs and not taking much notice till you see the bruise, I do it all the time but then I am a clumsy oaf.
Are you on aspirin or warfarin? You're not having a lot of luck at the moment x
My medication includes blood thinners and anti-coagulants and I bruise on the slightest contact with anything sharp or hard. This is especially true for my legs if I brush against a piece of furniture.

thank you, two on my right leg have been there for a what seems an age, they are not so prominent, but i can see them in certain lights, as i stand mostly, i haven't banged into anything, and no kneeling as can't get back up if i do. I have had dire pains in the legs for the last few months, throbbing on and off, now waiting to have my MRI open scan, but i don't know when that will be..

no warfarin or aspirin, only meds have been in recent two months, antibiotics
Hopefully the mri scan will lead to some answers. Along with some of your other posts, there is possibly blood/circulatory problem. Do you know if your pulse and BP is normal?

think so, i have seen a Neuro doctor and she has forwarded me to another department, long wait for open MRI scanners. so no idea when i will see the next doctor. some of this is similar to the pain in knees i had before, swollen, red and muscles hurt, after a process i was told it was bursitis, however have seen doctor who doesn't think so this time, but both are like it now, and i am tottering like i am pulled by strings, every movement is painful, lower back, spine especially, neck bones particularly hurt, so don't move well, or sometimes at all. which is not what i want at all,
Well, i really hope the mri reveals something helpful. Are you not on painkillers either?
