I am 24 years old and just had a baby. Now when I even drink one beer I get violently sick. I have never had this problem before. Even after my first pregnancy. Could this last baby I had completely changed my body? Or is there another reason for my alcohol reaction?

Don't know about alcohol, but after my second baby I became allergic to my gold coloured watch and now have to wear a stainless steel one.

Don't panic though, as it takes your body a full nine months to recover from pregnancy, so you may find that this wears off.

Could be worth having a chat with your health visitor though.

I agreed with squdqueen. You body is still recovering. Do you feel different than before? Everybody feels different after child birth, it takes time for the body to adjust.

A friend of mine has a three year old son and has the same thing.  Before she was pregnant could drink what she liked, now two glasses of wine makes her sick and she has hangovers from hell which she never had before.

Well that makes me feel better. I really miss going out for drinks. Thank you everybody!

I've never given birth myself, but after ten pints of Guinness I puke like a Donkey.
