I've just started using it for a scar on the upper side of my hand - no change yet, but it's only been five days.  I believe that it gets good results, so I bought a bottle in Holland & Barratt for 7.99, in the knowledge that it certainly is not going to do me any harm.

I previously used Vitamin E oil, but it was quite greasy and did not easily absorb into my skin.  Bio-oil is very easily absorbed, and does not stain clothes or bed linen - why not give it a try for a month or two?

thanks luckystrike, think i will give it a try. normally very wary of all these wonder creams, but read a letter in my regular magazine today from a lady who said she had been using it for 6 weeks and could see an improvement, she was really impressed with it, so will have to give it a whirl! thanks again

My daughter has had two operations in the past two years, and used bio-oil both times.  The scars have virtually disappeared now, and she raves about the stuff. A friend who is a bio-chemist recommended it to her. Good luck with the stretch marks!

Is bio-oil the name of the product or it's a general term for the product and where can i get it from? leading chemists? boots?superdrugs etc? thx!
