I would say almost 100% of surviving the operation if that is what you meant.

Survival of the cancer depends upon many other factors which are not obvious from your post.

Sorry miller, that is no help.

For an accurate prognosis one needs to know the type of tumour, the presence or absence of spread (metastsis) and the PSA levels (blood test which indicates how aggressive the tumour seems to be)

I would guess, not given the complete details, that his outlook will be quite good....80-90% chance of living for 5 years....which is good.
This is only a surmise with the details that you have given.

For further reading...Google "Gleason Score" which will give you an indication of what details are missing.
