My dad gave me a taste of drambuie when he was making Rusty Nails once... It's boggin...
I don't like it. I prefer Tia Maria.
Of course it is! It's Scottish... :-)

Seriously, though, I can't stand the stuff...
Don't forget to brush your teeth later. Try Glayva too. :)
Too sweet for me, am now fancying a wee dram, might have to have a little poke around in the cupboard....
Yuck!! Love malt whisky but can't stand liqueurs.
ditto the sweetness and search for a Malt now - only use for the liqueur is in a cocktail or a "Flaming Drambuie".........
Jayne - If you like Drambuie then have a bash at Benedictine.
Question Author
Benedictine? I don't have any. Should I get some?

I don't like malts really.
And Irish Mist.
Question Author
Really??
Irish Mist - Sheep grass digested through all four stomachs, a bucket of honey ingested, regurgitated, poteen added, mixed with cream and bottled.
Benedictine is a liquer, very similar to, but nicer than Drambuie.

Aaaaaaaaaaaah, poteen. Now we're talking.

I can still vividly remember the worst hangover of my life, despite it being over 20 years ago.
Oh, it's years since I had Irish Mist. It's lovely.
Question Author
This is very drinkable.

Bit dangerous, actually.
Benedictine is truly the most disgusting concoction, those monks must be really lairy people.
